Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview

Apptains is a product of RupeeStack Platform Private Limited. This Refund & Cancellation Policy describes when and how you can cancel an order, when you are eligible for a refund, and how refunds are processed for purchases made on apptains.com.

Because Apptains delivers software services that begin execution within minutes of payment, our cancellation and refund terms are tailored to a digital-services workflow. By placing an order you agree to the terms below.

Cancellation
window

Before work has started

You may cancel an order at any time before a developer or AI agent has been assigned and begun work on it. To cancel, open the order from your dashboard and use the "Cancel order" option, or email us at hello@rupeestack.com. Cancellations requested before work starts are eligible for a 100% refund.

After work has started

Once work has started, the order can no longer be cancelled unilaterally. You can still request a refund under the conditions in the next section.

Refund
eligibility

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund in the following situations:

  • Order not started: 100% refund if you cancel before work begins.
  • Undeliverable order: Full refund if we are unable to deliver the agreed scope for technical or capacity reasons.
  • Significant quality issue: Partial or full refund if the delivered work materially fails to meet the agreed specification and we are unable to remedy it after a reasonable revision attempt.
  • Duplicate payment: Full refund of any duplicate or accidental charge.

Non-refundable
items

The following are not eligible for a refund:

  • Orders that have been fully delivered and accepted.
  • Changes in requirements after work has started (these are handled as paid change requests, not refunds).
  • Time already spent by developers or AI agents on the order at the point of cancellation.
  • Third-party fees (such as cloud, domain, or API costs) already incurred on your behalf.

How to request
a refund

To request a cancellation or refund, contact us within 7 days of the issue with the following details:

  • Your order ID
  • The email address used to place the order
  • A brief description of the issue and what you would like resolved

Processing
time

Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, the credit may take additional time to appear on your statement.

For UPI and card payments processed via Razorpay or PhonePe, refunds are typically credited within 3 to 7 business days after approval.

Chargebacks

If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so we can resolve it directly. Filing a chargeback without first reaching out may delay the resolution and may result in temporary suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.

Changes to
this policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with the "Last updated" date above. Orders placed after a change are governed by the version of the policy in effect at the time of order.
