    Sign up and get a numbered spot on the manifest. Boarding happens in order, in small groups. Each crew that comes aboard gets a named engineer’s attention, so we don’t board everyone at once.

    At launch: your free inspection.

    Before you pay us anything, we go through your repository and tell you what’s solid and what’s dangerous: exposed secrets, missing access controls, dependencies about to bite. In writing, in plain language. Waitlist members are first in the inspection queue.

What exactly is Apptains?

One subscription, two ways to build: an AI workspace where you build yourself, and a real, named engineer who builds what you need, fixes what breaks, and keeps everything running, for one monthly fee instead of a $400/hour emergency. You own the code, the accounts, and the relationship.

How is this different from Lovable or Replit?

Those tools are where you build. Apptains is where you build and where the software lives after: a named engineer reviewing and hardening what ships, monitoring watching it in production, and someone to call when it breaks. Bring an app you built anywhere, or build your next one here.

Who is it for?

Anyone with software their business depends on, especially if you built it with AI tools like Lovable, Replit, or Bolt and it now has real users, real data, or real revenue on it. If your app going down would ruin your week, you’re who we built this for.

Do I have to stop building myself?

The opposite: building yourself is half the product. Apptains includes a full AI workspace, and your Apptain reviews, hardens, and ships what matters while you move fast. Building with a professional in charge instead of alone.

Is this AI doing the work?

The engineer on your software is a human, employed by us and named on your dashboard. Our engineers use modern tools like anyone serious does, but you’re never talking to a chatbot wearing an engineer costume, and accountability never gets outsourced to a model.

What happens if I cancel?

You keep everything. The code was always in your GitHub org, and everything we host for you is portable: standard cloud, no proprietary runtime. Thirty days’ notice, a clean handover of code, data, and infrastructure, and you owe us nothing further. We think making it easy to leave is the best reason to stay.

When do you launch, and what will it cost?

First crews board this fall, in small groups, in waitlist order. Plans will range from “someone competent is watching your software” to “we are your entire engineering function.” Waitlist members see pricing first and lock founding rates before public launch.
