How to delete it

1. 1.Open the Apptains app on your phone, or go to early.apptains.com in a browser, and sign in.
2. 2.Open Profile, then the settings gear at the top. On a wide screen, Settings is in the menu at the side.
3. 3.Tap Delete account at the bottom, read what it means, and enter your password to confirm.

We email you to confirm, with the date your data will be erased.

What happens
next

Straight away

You are signed out on every device and the account is switched off. Nobody can sign in to it.

Nothing renews while you wait. A site you have live keeps working until the month you paid for it ends, or until the day your data is erased if that comes first. Domains and servers you bought through us are not renewed, and an Apptain working on one of your projects stops.

After 30 days

We erase what your account holds with us:

• •Your profile: your name, email address and phone number.
• •Your businesses and everything you told us about them.
• •Your conversations, with our AI and with the people who worked on your projects, and the files you shared in them.
• •Your projects and their code.

Anything still running stops on that day, including any site you have live and the domains and servers you bought through us. Credits left in your account are written off. If you want a copy of your code, download it from your project before you delete the account.

What we keep,
and why

We keep the records of your payments: what you paid for, when, and how much. Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep them, so they are not erased with the rest of your account. We keep them for 8 years.

Changed your
mind?

Email hello@apptains.com from the address on your account within the 30 days, and we will cancel the deletion and keep your account as it is. Once your data has been erased, it cannot be brought back.

No longer have
the app?

Email hello@apptains.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will check that the request comes from you, delete the account in the same way, and email you the date your data will be erased.
